The “Monkey Taunt” that Freddie Aguilar quipped about Arnel Pineda has been bitch-slapped by the latter’s apparent success with the band. When Oprah asked the band members what they think of Arnel Pineda, the band mates had only kind words and admiration for the Filipino Youtube Sensation, saying he is an amazing singer, down to earth and very humble. When Oprah asked him if it already sinked in, Arnel said that he is like an alien: “I am not allowed to be here yet I’m Here”. He also talked about his AP Foundation which intends to help the street children in Manila. After the interview, Arnel Pineda and the Journey Band sang the song “Faithfully” which gave him the job as the lead singer of one of he world’s most famous band of all time. As usual like Charice Pempengco, Arnel Pineda and the Journey band got a standing ovation from the audience and from Oprah herself.
