I started this blog as a quasi-war blog cum commentary blog. But I was never really comfortable about it ever since I conceived it. I thought I can carry it but I was wrong. It’s really not my nature nor my cup of tea. Simply put it, in the one whole month of initial run, I ran out of things to write, simply because the concept was only limited to political and social issue plus the fact that I unwittingly conceptualized it as a mouthpiece for my anger and disappointments, frustrations and rage. It’s not healthy you know and to continue populating the blog with angst and ire just consumed me in the most lowest level imaginable.

Coming previously from a religious order whose primary charism is to spread peace, I think the former concept of this blog really lived up to its former title being “the walking contradiction”.

Until I realize one morning that I wasn’t happy anymore with the turn out of the blog. There were traffic but the design and color scheme of black and dark colors made its negative impression even in the aura of the blog. Considering that I’m a happy person and always wanted to light things up, I finally made a conclusion that bluepanjeet.com should be redesigned and re-conceptualized.

So on the third week of February, 2009, I decided to overhaul this entire blog and turned into a channel where I can blog about my passion, hobbies and interest as a bachelor. Being a kid at heart and childlike most of the times, I decided to name this blog as Bachelor Pod (pod; meaning dispenser or container) to highlight my living as the bachelor of my generation, and keeping a document of everything that attracts every bachelor from women to music to toys.

So to all bachelors our there, enjoy being a kid once again.
